Parseable with AWS
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud services provider, offering a wide range of services including compute, storage, databases, analytics, machine learning, and more. Parseable integrates with AWS to provide a seamless experience for our customers.
This document provides an overview of the AWS services that Parseable integrates with, and how to set up the integration.
Authentication and access control
Parseable uses AWS IAM roles to authenticate and authorize access to AWS services. You can create an IAM role with the necessary permissions and attach it to the Parseable instance to enable access to AWS services.
Deployment and configuration
Parseable can be deployed in AWS using the following methods:
- AWS EKS: Install Parseable in your EKS cluster using this guide here.
- AWS ECS: Install Parseable in your ECS cluster using this guide here.
- AWS EC2: You can install Parseable on an EC2 (with an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS AMI) using the standard Linux installation guide.
- AWS Lightsail: Docs coming soon.
- AWS Lambda: Docs coming soon.
Ingest logs and events from AWS services
Parseable can ingest logs and events from various AWS services, including:
- AWS Lambda: Parseable can ingest logs from AWS Lambda functions. You can use the Lambda function log ingestion guide to set up the integration.
- AWS Kinesis Firehose: Parseable can ingest logs from Kinesis Firehose. You can use the Kinesis Firehose log ingestion guide to set up the integration.
- AWS S3: Parseable can ingest logs from S3. You can use any log agent's S3 source to ingest logs from S3. For example Vector, FileBeat, etc.
